The Myth: Children were banned from riding at a donkey derby.

The Reality: It was reported that the HSE had banned children from riding donkeys in a donkey derby and they had to be replaced with inflatable sheep. In reality, as is often the case, it appears to have been as a result of the cost of the insurance premium. Donkey derbies take place regularly around the country.
